Located in Baltimore County, Irvine Nature Center is situated on 116 acres of woodlands, wetlands and meadows. The center itself is a U.S. Green Building Council LEED certified building making use of recycled and salvaged materials and highlighting state-of-the-art materials including a vegetated roof, waterless urinals, low flow fixtures, rain barrels and energy efficient lighting.

In addition to a beautifully inspiring, sustainable setting, Irvine Nature Center's green venue provides a great value as well, with many extras that often add to the bottom line of an event proposal already included in the rental pricing which includes a 30' x 75' semi-permanent tent which comfortably fits 140-150 guests, a 16' x 16' dance floor, 60" round tables and 200 chairs as well as standard 6' and 8' banquet tables. For your wedding ceremony, the staff members will set-up the necessary seating for your guests near the nature center, or if you like, you can have your wedding ceremony take place at the gazebo overlooking a beautiful meadow.

The nature center's interactive exhibit space lends itself well to cocktail receptions while small conference rooms allow for business meetings and presentations as well as a caterer's staging area when not otherwise in use.
